How is the fishing right now? Any recent reports. Was thinking of hitting it on one day this week. I am planning on getting there around 6 in the morning. Is this too late for the morning bite. Thanks

SS,
The fish are there, go get em. No 6 is not too late, we fished it yesterday and the bite was fairly consistent throughout the morning. Dont forget, limit is now 3 fish too.
Enjoy
RL

Was just there yesterday. Fishing wasn't too bad. Three of us fishing we hooked seven, but only landed three. Hooked fish throughout the day...until the lightning show started and we got out of there. Not a lot of people fishing which was nice. River was very low!

the river is really low and there's a lot of crap floating down it(scum from on the rocks). fishing is moderately slow, and you can often see the steelhead swimming under your boat because the water is so clear. if you like whitefish, theyre definitely in there, i ton of them(and lots of suckers too) right on the bottom, some in the 1lb or bigger range
