Ok gang here's the scenario... As some of you know, I have been deployed to the Western Pacific for almost 7 months now.. Sometimes, the stress level can be a little high on the home front. Though the Admiral (wife) is a great wife with a super sense of humor, things didn't go as planned..

I was chatting with the wife last night on various things. Then I hit her with taking the boat in for a tune up and various little other things prior to my arrival stateside again. She immediately went from zero to grumpy in less than a nanosecond and I received the 4th (not 3rd) degree on priorities around the house. Shoot all I asked for was a small favor (???) Like any other service person, we don't like to waste time running around on our free time trying to get life back in order when returning home. (Enough of the hen pecked portion.)

Long story short, she hit's me with, "You'd probably still go fishing if Pamela Anderson come knockin' on the door naked- wouldn't ya?" My first mistake was a delayed answer (I was visualizing Pam) and my second mistake was my answer... "Yep! And on my way out the door I'd stop and ask her if she wanted to go fishing." Needless to say, the rest of my chatting didn't get any replies...

Now if she would have said Demi Moore, I probably would stay home!

Boy... I am in trouble!

Hey DR, I'd take Pam or Demi fishing...Naked or in a full snowmobile suit and I haven't been out to sea for 7 months!! But I really think the Admiral was just thinking of Salmon conservation.....if you have to take your boat in to get serviced for a day or two, maybe a few more salmon might survive to see another day!
