Thanks, P

I was out last Friday and fished that area. Only had a fish on up in the hollow.

Had some bumps and releases that I thought were fish, but no hookups... but only one solid strike that ended up with a fish in the boat.

Marked a fair amount of fish anywheres from 15 feet deep to about 105. Ran the downriggers up and down chasing them and finally settled at 30 feet in order to keep from getting tendonitis in my button finger.

30 is where I got a fish and it was about 11AM.

I'll be out prospecting this Friday also.

I bet it will be hot tonight, I sooo wish I could get out there...let us know how ya do.

I'm headed out that way this weekend. Are there any good spots to get some crabs in the northern part of area 9?

Sorry about getting back a little late. Was puttin' together my daughters swing set today.... Gotta love those great directions!!! mad

Anyway. Made it out yesterday and worked the hollow for maybe 30 min?? Then ran over to possession point and worked the 'horseshoe' .....HOT! HOT! HOT!.. We got there and it was just on fire! We were running flashers with coho killers 20" behind with 50lb leader, little more action.. we ended up with 4 silvers and 3 pinks for an hour and a half of work. Plus qiute a few that came unbuttoned .. It was worth the trip. The color combos didin't really seem to matter much. We also on went down to 40' max.

Going out tomorrow for a little more action. Might run up to Bush also??? We'll see.??

gotta go, time to check the cedar plank...

Was hoping to get your report P-Martin, as I plan on fishing that area next week. Sounds like most of the fish are on the bar and haven't moved over to the Shipwreck.... I may give the bubble another try on Sunday too.

went out yesterday am. Same spot. we went 2 for 5 in the boat. They guy with the hot rod just kepy loosen em'! We got to FAT silvers in though, both 8-10. 1 small pink and 1 smalll silver, both around a pound or two that went back. Will hit it again Sunday am. Might go give the T bubble a shot though? The bite was fast and furious around tide change. Died out to nothing after.

I think that week ahead is going to be a good one. Rain in the forecast..... I'll probably be out everyday after work this week and pretty close to everyday for the next month and a half. Of course the wife might have a few words to say about that?? A wise man once told me," it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission".

P.S. coho derby 9/20 & 21. Get your stuff tuned up!!!

Somewhat slow today. We caught one coho, one pink, one 15 pound king, two shaker BM (yes, chinook released). All around shipwreck or Possession. All on humpy rigs. Not much netting going around us, either. Next trip will be this Wednesday. It can only get better, right?
