Well,

Got my two kings and off of the water by 6:30am. 9 and 12lbs, I guess they netted the hell out of it is what I was told. Maybe thats why they still had a net in the river mad .
Anybody else hit the bay today?

Ken

Right on KR! Guess they didn't net it too hard if you were limited out and off the water by 0630. What was the magic bait today?

Green Flasher and green, white and silver hoochie, with a big ol slab o' herring.
Both were caught 85 feet in 180 feet o' water.
In front of Todd, right about where the cops chase you off evil . Who's going to attack a drydocked vessel anyway?

Right on Kennyray!

I know, what are they thinking protecting that POS in the dry dock. That navy boat looks like a giant shrimp pot puller.

Come on Easy,
Take it easy on that ship. They just got back from a 10 month deployment. Your boat might look a bit rough if it sat out in the ocean for 10 straight months too. Plus I think that thing is older than dirt!

By the way, nice fish at Redondo! Hitting SW again tonight, hope it is as hot as it was on Wednesday! Where are you banging fish this weekend? Good luck,
UM

Dreamin,
I've heard its a morning bite, but others probably know better than I.

The tides this afternoon look great (only 3 feet of exchange) so I will be acting as bait boy on a friend's boat and hopefully will have something good to report.

Hey Easy and the rest,
That big gray POS is my boat. After 10 months in the Gulf and through the war, in salt water, they kinda look like that. That's why we are in dry dock. After the COLE, wouldn't you want some protection from terroirsts. Not saying that it would happen here, but you never know.

Sure I understand extra security,
but the best spot in the bay is right there at Todd! But I like to kinda push the limits at times and I got within' 75 of Todd, before I got chased out. By the way as quiet as its kept there is another Navy boat on the west side of Todd also.
Hey Rick, can you explain to me why the Seattle Police are guarding a US Navy ship?
I don't understand that.

KR,
I totally understand the frustration with the security zone. TODD is a private shipyard, so the Seattle police got the contract to "guard/monitor" the area. Over in Bremerton, the base police have thier own boats. It makes it difficult to fish over here sometime too. Then there is the zone you have to stay away from the ferries now. The Coasties will come after you then! It's too bad things have to be this way since 9 11.
