Fished the morning tide 8/9.Had a good time, hooked and released 12 silvers, all on the surface trolling floating plugs about 3mph.Red and white plugs w/ silver sides seemed to be the flavor of the day.I stayed away from the Sat. morning flotilla on Jeff Head and fished in the shipping lanes.Lots of fish on the top.If I had to guess some of the silvers were ocean types because a couple were around 10#.

Interesting report. Thanks.
I'm curious though. Red and white surface plug with silver sides? Can't recall one like you describe; are we talking J-plug, hot shot, bass plug or something else?

After looking at my post I guess it sounds like I was proud of the guy that kept the king. I am not, it pisses me off. it's people like that that ruin it for the rest of us. tight lines

Man that fries me, in the last couple of weeks I have C&R'd 11 Kings over approx 12 lbs over there. I have seen one other boat keep about an eight pounder. I told him it was a King and they were closed and to put back. Then he flew me the bird.

So.........

I turned the hail feature on the loudspeaker and let everyone around us know what transpired. he took off back towards Shilshole within two minutes!

Very, very tempting to take down numbers and call him in, Next time.

Love that story about the bird and the loudspeaker. Got the guy to fly his true colors for everyone to see.

Watch 'em flee when their shameful deeds are brought into the light.

Way to go Cast and Blast! thumbs
