Try cerise colored (bubble-gum only about half as effective) 1.5" curl-tail plastic jigs, jigged up and down about 2.5' or so....a straight retreive doesn't work nearly as well. This works on the areas above Sedro, especially.

Look for rising fish, that seems to be the key...so move if you ain't catchin' 'em!

A boat probably will put you miles ahead of where you were without a boat, but it depends upon a lot of factors.
