Fished Elliott Bay this morning from 5:30-11:00. Got two limits. I got a 6# and 8#. My buddy got a 13# and 16# - see photo below. We didn't see a lot of fish caught but saw some on shore. Ours were at 160' and 180' on the dr with green spatterback hoochies and white glow 5" plugs. "Double Limits"... I like the sound of that. May have to go back tomorrow!

Does anyone know what the scoop is with the guys outside the Seacrest Boat House talking up / selling the orange spatterback and blue spatterback flasher/squid combinations.

I've always heard that any color is fine as long as it's green, and I've had a lot of luck with white/glow hoochies and plugs this year, but I've never heard of using blue or orange.

The guys seemed to be saying that that's what they used to catch a 40# fish in Elliott this year.

The price at Seacrest for the flasher/pre-tied hooche package looked like $20.95!

Does anybody think it would be worth the investment???
