Very slow out there this weekend for us. Fished SInclair inlet early Saturnday..Nothing...headed to Southworth....nothing....Rick bagged a nookie early in afternoon....Fished with UMRules and Rick in his boat Sunday. Caught an early morining Blackmouth and UnRules nabbed a humpy at Dolphin, then left for Southworh around 11am. Nailed a nice 12 and half pounder down deep on the ole GSBT.

Sure wish the fishing would pick up soon around here. beathead

I see the post-VINSON, pre-retirement life is pretty good... I am counting the days 'til next year. Already told Admiral Abbott I was fishing everyday for 6 months straight before heading back to work- complete with beard!

When is the gang headed north?

Hey DR,
How's life on the Briny? Ol' Dangerous is doing pretty well back here, averaging a fish a trip fishing out of my boat and Rick's boat. I know he is itching to get the CohoMojo out on the water. Should happen in the next day or two.

Our trip to Hi-hium is 9 days away, provided the wild fires up there don't cancel us out. They evacuated the lake for a couple days about 2 weeks ago when lightrning started a fire about 3 miles from the lake. They are having a pretty rough summer up there, last count was somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 fires burning in BC and over ten thousand people have been evacuated from their homes at one point or another. I sure hope they start getting some rain up there. If we make it up there I'll let you know how we do....Kamloops Rainbow on the fly..gotta love it!

Stay Safe out there,
UM
