I would like to get away from the combat fishing deal. Was planning on a trip to the Skeena, but man that is a long drive.

how about the estuaries in Barkley in Sept. any suggestions? ( small boat good captain and crew).

We where up in Barkley Sound last week and the big fish are in. In 3 days we had 10 kings and 2 coho (no quite in yet). The kings averages 20+ and the weather was great. I am not sure about Sept. but it should still be good.

No skunk

just returned from berkley sound, fished from 8/16 to 8/20 we hooked alot of fish in the mid to high twenties and a handful in the thirties.saw a few fish on the dock that where fourty five and bigger.this was the best trip we have had in the last three or four years.advice if you go in sept get out near bamfield or cape beal or ship wreck or kirby do not fish down near china creek or any where in the alberni inlet those fish are dark and few and far between.we tried it two years ago in sept and it was a big waste of timewe fished to far in.The guides up there will start fishing off shore next week, between five and twenty five miles out and they will stay out for the rest of the season.if you have any ? shoot me a pm and I can get more specific.
