My buddy fished the mouth of the toutle today and seen no fish caught while he was there. He went up to the barrier for a look see and there was a guy on the bar across from the deadline that had two chromers. He said he was snagging. Sight fishing.

Anyone else out there have a better cow report for us? I need more than that.

I fished the mouth of the Toutle 8/23 from about 5:30pm to 7:15pm. (I probably saw your friend if I knew who you meant). I saw 2 guys in a 10 foot boat pulling plugs about 100 yeards down from the mouth and they got two fish, at least one was a chinook. The were using orange and the blue pirate.

There were four guys in waders fishing in the mouth and they got two fish. I assume both were steelies based upon the size of them. None of the bank fisherman had any fish--or even any bites that I know of.
