They should be there by now! I haven't heard anything from my cronies yet about CC... Of course they have been doing good off the Can.

Wasted a morning out at Chambers the weekend before last - 30 boats and only saw one fish hooked. Tides were bad or I'd have been at B10 - been there ever since laugh

The fishing was GREAT! The catching could have used some improvement however........

Thanks for the update. Think I will give it a try this weekend. Or should I head to the can? Either way I will give an update. Here is a couple pics of my favorite little man, manning the net.

Not sure about bank fishing. Close to Steilicoom.

No bank fishing at Chambers Creek. Starting at its mouth (the railroad bridge) where it enters Puget Sound, there is about 1 mile of tidal estuary until you get to a fish ladder. Fishing is closed in all of the estuary and also above the fish ladder. Sorry, it's a salt water game & accessable by boat only down there.

As a kid, I used to bank fish the estuary for cutthroat & the occasional salmon, but that was a long time ago & when the regulations permitted it. No longer legal (unless you join a local tribe).

fishin....not the way I read the rulebook, but maybe there is a change that I haven't seen? Chum, do your own homework but as far as I read as long as you are 400 feet below the dam (same as the fish trap I think) you are in the estuary...then it is statewide rules with some other limitations as far as wild silvers. Chum man...get to steilicoom and head north along the coast of the sound...look for the old abandoned mill and you are there....just look to your left...if coming from Oly take the dupont exit (119ish?) go left and then right at the light towards steilicoom....have fun, check the rules...lots of bank to use there. I may get beat up about the directions but I dont think this one is too much of a secret.
