Hello everyone, I have a quick question, is anyone running an Intruder in the sound? If so how does she handle? I am thinking about this boat with the 18 deg vee and wanted some feed back. Any insite would be much appreciated, especially if you are running a 4 stroke OB.

Tight Lines,

MJ

Are you only going to run in the sound? I just bought a Super Vee with the 10deg bottom, and it rides alot smoother than the dealer said it would. I had it out on Lake Goodwin on Sunday, and it handled really well. The lake was REALLY rough, with about 25 jetskis and 20-25 other boats tearing it up.

I'll bet the Intruder with the 18deg bottom will be a nice ride on the sound.

I have the 22 foot formula vee with and 18 degree hull. I have a outboard bracket with a 200 merc prop on it. It handles the waves fine If the chop is more than a foot I slow down to about 20 - 30 mph to help with the ride. Put a couple of the suspension seats and you wont even notice the bumps.
