Another good day. But I think I could have slept in with the Alki launch being so empty. On the water by 4am trolling by 4:30. Started out with them dam doggies beathead . All fish again were at 150 to 200. Just going to get better. Kinda glad the Redondo launched closed, because I probubly wouldn't have made the drive down there to fish. See ya on the water.

4-mile is just a little West of Elliot Bay Marina....towards West Point.

DL, Look at the reg book map of area 10. You'll see Alki point and than north east of there West Point. It sits in between there right below Magnolia bluff. Can't miss the flashing green light.

Erndog,

I know the area well. I often launch from Alki and sightsee with friends or crab near there. Thank for letting me know what it is called.

Thanks,
David

Curtis, Liam (his 6 year old son) and I fished out of Shilshole around West Point and four mile rock Saturday. Liam caught his first Salmon, a Blackmouth which was quickly released, and a short time after that a nice little Coho! He was pretty excited about, although you can't tell from the picture which I hope to have soon. He was so excited that he promptly laid down and took a two hour nap!

Sunday morning we get out to Four Mile Rock and begin to get the tackle together. Curtis drops a herring over to check the spin and it got ANILAHATED! by a coho. We were so shocked. It felt like we were under attack. After we stopped screaming and got ourselves cleaned up we realized what had happened. After that start we expected big things but only managed 1 small and rather dark little Coho and a couple of shakers.

It was good to see Fishslayer back on the water after the recent tragedy. As far as we could tell the plug was in. We called to remind him. Twice.

Gutz, always fun to see the young ones enjoy themselves. That would have been pretty exciting to see that fish take the bate so close. I'm going to call FishSlayer tomorrow, is he alright. You mentioned the ol'boat plug, did blue take on a few gallons of water? I know he was spending some time out at Westport, hope he wasn't out to far. I'm going to hit the water on Sat. afternoon and possable Sunday morning. Hope to see ya out there.
