Seattlerocket,
It's a 2002 Smokercraft Tracer. Basically it's a Lodge seriers with a windshield and side console put in with a 25 Yami 4 stroke with power trim/tilt. Got it at Auburn Sports and Marine 2 years ago. Last I checked they still carried them at Stevens Marine down by Portland, but that is the only place I have seen them lately.

Zen,
I make an annual pilgrimage to Hi-Hium with Dangerous Dave and few others. First week of September every year. Stay at Eagle Bay 1 cabin with the Circle W Ranch. This year was probably the best yet. Weather was awesome, infact it was almost too warm during the day, and the fishing was fantastic! Nymphing, tossing dries or wind drifting....the bite was on!! do you venture up that way also??

Tight Lines all!!

UM,

I've flung my share of flies. Fished Hihium out of the FS campground in 2000. Drove up to check out a nearby lake reputed to have large fish in 2000. Almost found that lake but got sidetracked by a flat tire.

Very nice fish. Are you guys making a return trip down in the next week or so?

Zen,
the nets go into the Lower Columbia on Monday and figure the weekend to be even a bigger zoo, so will probably wait til we get word that the nets ahve been out for a few days. By then it will probably be pretty much just a Silver fishery, but should be decent fishing thru the end of October.

We followed you down there. Had good fishing there wednesday night, but thursday was pretty dead there. Much better in the main river.

Nice catch there UM. Looks like I'm missing out on a good run this year. On a positive note, "only" 10 more months and I'll be back!

Nice fish guys....

Well, I haven't decided where I am going to go first. October 1st kicks off BM season for me!
I'll probably hang around and fish Green Pt.
I did very well last year off Green- especially October!

Will definitely hit Manchester for the opener this year!
