i have never had my boat out at the golf course hole this time of year (only late fall through spring ) so can any one tell me with current conditions how much draft you can have to make it around the bend and is it possible to make it to hoppa w/o a jet pump?

The river is currently flowing at 1250 cfs. At that flow you're not going to be getting far without a pump. If you don't have a pump, you're best bet would be to join the rodeo at the meat hole.
