Just wondering if the brine worked out. Hopefully it's as good as MY smoked salmon.....
p.s. Beth's brother lives in Vancouver. Last night I convinced her to go on a trip to visit him in two weeks. You know what that means laugh - time to show me this hole you've been bragging about...

It turned out pretty good, but it is not the best tasting fish. I think I might have washed it a bit to much because there isn't as much salt flavor as I usually like. It makes a big difference in taste in the meat if they are chromers then if they have a little color. It still is pretty good. I do need to get a new element for my smoker because it takes too long to burn a tray of chips. I am going to go out there on wednesday after work so I will let you know how it goes.

When you come down it will absolutely be on fire. We are going to get a bit of rain this week and the bulk of the run hasn't even hit the river yet. Get prepared to catch a ton of fish.

What day will you be down. I have a ground breaking cerimony for my new job that saturday the 27th at 11:00 am. I don't really want to go to this but all the big wigs at the office will be attending. If you come down sometime that afternoon we could either fish it in the evening or go the next morning. Let me know your plans.
