I know I said I wouldn't post anymore reports, but I decided you bad eggs aren't worth withholding a report from the good ones. Fished down by the bridge on Sunday and had a pretty good day. Didn't hit the water until noon and still managed to land 8 silvers. I lost a real nice king right next to the boat. We used delta divers fishflash and cutplug herring at 14-19 pulls. Blue label was outproducing the green.

Lots of seagulls so be quick to get your bait down. There were only a couple dozen other boats in sight so fishing is peaceful down there.

Got a report out of chinook that the ocean is still red hot so it will be good down by astoria for awhile.

Goodluck

Was down there myself again on Saturday afternoon, after goose hunting all morning and getting a few, the two of us caught 6 fish in short order, all silvers over 10. Basically, nobody was fishing, probably all upstream chasing dark kings rolleyes Didn't fish Sunday as we shot a limit of geese in the morning and just plain had too much meat to deal with eek . Tides are perfect later this week and all through the weekend, so it should be hot laugh

The fishing was GREAT! The catching could have used some improvement however........
