Heeeeeeelp! I lost my pole and reel at the Samish River on 9/19/03. My biggest dumb A$$ move of the year! I leaned it up against my truck while taking off my waders and I remember telling myself "Self, don't set it there 'cause you're going to forget it!". And wouldn't you know it! Looked in the back of my truck today and surprise, no pole. It was a brand new pole, caught a grand total of 5 fish with it.

It was an 8'6" Lamiglas MBC86MHC with a Pflueger Trion 66 baitcaster. The protective plastic cover was still on the cork handle.

I have a renewed faith in humanity! Well, maybe just a new faith in fellow fisherman . I posted some signs down at the Samish and lo and behold I got a call from the guy today that found my pole. It is now back home where it belongs.

Griz, normally I would agree with you and I fully expected not to get it back. For some reason the Fish Gods were smiling on me today. Maybe I should go buy my Lotto ticket now?!

Anyways, many thanks and much appreciation to the guy that returned it. We need more sportsmen like him!
