Fished Tuesday morning by myself off West Pt btwn the green can and the yellow can, caught a nice Coho in the first 15 minutes then trolled for a couple hours before heading North to Edmonds. Got there dropped the downrigger down to 67 ft and nailed another. Both were caught on an Army Truck hootchie.
Fished yesterday with a newbie who's never Salmon fished before. Launched at Manchester and arrived at West Pt just after sunrise. Caught 4 nice Coho by 10:30. First fish caught on the army truck hootchie and the other three on an army truck sonic edge. Let the new guy have all the fun. I had more fun just knowing he was having fun.
