Outstanding!
I have to say, I've never been so happy to see unemployment staring me in the face!
I can't wait to get out there.

Nice to see you with your daughter enjoying that fish, looks like you have been doing well. However the second picture shows a non-clipped fish and i do believe that they cannot be kept in the rivers. Now i fish the salt and can keep non0clipped fish there, but i suggest that if you do keep those fish, dont tell people and post it on the board that you caught them in the river. My personal view is that they will be netted or just spawned and discarded and that the numbers that us lowly sports fisherman catch are a pittance compared to the wasting of the commercials and the tribes netting the rivers. If i am in error, I appoligize, Fishy.........

"Please read your regs before you imply that someone is doing something illegal!"
No kidding. It's one thing to err on the safe side yourself because you don't want to take the time to look it up, but telling someone you think they're doing something illegal w/o knowing for sure is irresponsible.
Look it up, then quote the statement that you think makes someone a law breaker.

Nice fish Canyon man! I'm on the river at least 3 days a week. Some days in my red 14' Lund and others in my green 20' alumaweld. (depends on what my strategy is that day) See ya on the river! Snake "Coho" Pliskin ![cool cool](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/cool.gif)

Sorry, grandpa2, I noticed that this a.m. and figured you'd already been out.
What's worked best for me for pinks (that I don't keep unless they're unusually bright because I fish the Sky mostly) is the dick nite, in either half 'n half (brass/nickel), nickel/chartreuse, or nickel/pink.
I rig them with 3-4' of leader and lead on a 8" dropper. Keeps the gear off the bottom a little while you can still feel it. Adding the dropper tripled the number of pinks I hooked.
This also works well for silvers (supposedly....I haven't used this method for them yet) in the same water (nickel/brass being the best color) so it's one way to increase your odds of taking something home.
