Was on my way to Alki this morning.. Wind was ok at my place, but when I got on SR16 it was howling... So now I am thinking, "Don't drive all that way to get blown off the water!" Decided to take a peek at Wollochet to check conditions. It was fairly flat.

Fished the cement bulkhead off Cromwell and couldn't touch a hit despite the numerous fish milling and showing... After two hours decided to head to my beloved Green Pt to check it out... Long story short... four, yes... four nice just legal Blackmouth in 1 1/2 hours- all released.

It is going to be a banner fall for Blackmouth at Green... a ton of bait is already in the area...

Headed up to Alki tomorrow...

Way to go DR! I ended up driving up to Kingston and fished in front of the oil docks for an 8 and 10 lb. chrome coho but it was pretty damn lumpy.

I'll have to be out hitting Green here pretty soon. Protected water and I think it may be all of about a 10 minute run from my house. It's time I take advantage of that fishery.
