Go deep.

We got 7 yesterday at 100+ ft. Use glow flashers and hootchies with a herring strip. At that depth, I have to slow down a bit to keep my gear on the DR, but it didn't seem to matter. We were going about 2mph on the GPS.

Got to watch some kids catch all those fish. Between catching, netting, bonking and bleeding, these kids had a great time. More fun to watch them than do the catching...

I got (2) on Saturday out by myself on the afternoon tide. One was about 10 lbs. I let the other one go, as it had black dots on the side which I thought might be tumors... My fish were caught at 70' with the same gear.

Went out Friday morning and caught 0. Used flasher & green glo squid with 3 oz. crescent sinker. Then went to six oz. & used flasher & herring.

We did not hook up at shipwreck, maybe not fishing deep enough. But then right after the tide change at Edmonds we picked up two nice ones on coho killers at about 50 -80 feet.

Started out just south of Mukultio and trolled south. After a couple of miles of nothing, shot over to Skachett Head and made a couple of passes thru my honey hole before I found the bait ball that hangs out around there. Two passes later my release let go and I brought a nice 7lbr to the boat. The tide was really running & by the time I was ready to fish again I was a 1/2 mile down current. trolled back to where I had marked the bait but the porpoise beat me there and scattered the bait. Spent the next hour working the ledge before I hit a 5lbr which I released. Kept fishing the ledge amongst the porpoise and nailed a nice 10lbr to fill my limit a 1/2 hour later. thumbs

Fished today with a New guy to the board, It was a Great Day to be on the water!

We hit one @ Shipwreck, then we ventured off a little.

Went to Edmonds, got a few taps, but no stickers.

Proceeded to Point No Point and picked up the other 3.

They were all over as usual, but hit around 64.666 ft laugh

No Big Uns, but nice fiesty buggers.

Hit em with my favorite granny smith

Thanks Dan!!

I whored a ride in a driftboat today....caught and released Humpsters, and watched Silvers swim by. It was a Great Day on the water!

I will be heading to the salt again, hopefully this week!, now that my boat is "out of jail"

I fished 20+ days on the salt this year and I don't own a boat beer Something very satisfying about catching fish and whoring rides.

Yup, I hear That! thumbs

I got to get out quite a few days too!, with other buddies. wink

Having my own boat helps though! For the days I go by myself, or when it's spur of the moment.

Now I have to start looking @ sleds.... laugh
And a Bigger Salt boat!, so I can Cook Breakee while trolling laugh
