Well it just continues on the snohomish...what can I say. Took driftboat for some silver action and he caught on quickly as always. Action was pretty much non stop all day.

We even had some time for a little catch and release mixed in!



During all this excitement driftboat and I were able to chat with a couple other board members....woodsy wayne and this fellow

I spent all day up and down on the river, near Snohomish and all I caught caused me to leave gear in the river. And yes, I was fishing green dick nites almost exclusively. Not to mention that there was only one guy, who went way up river and caught 2 coho.

Yes it was dick nights we were doing are thing with and I did not get hung up one time.

Canyon/Driftboat Good to see you guys catching those silvers, sometimes they can be real loackjawed, looks like you got em dialed in!
Mac looks like you did better than me this weekend, C.J. and I were fishing the Lewis on Friday, fish down there are pretty dark overall.

fished Douglas Bar and the islands on Sat and only managed one darkie. Green Dick Nite only got me pinkies. I guess it may have just been a bad day. Really sore too from rowin the driftie 2k around all day.

Seen about a gazillion fish and couln't seem to find what they were hittin on. Saw one boat with about an 16 lb chromer. They were tossin 6" buzz bombs with what looked like monster trebles?

Nice meeting you Canyon Man and always good to see the Macinator. It was also nice seeing Wayne, who I recognized fishing downstream from me when we first arrived at the river.

After fishing above and below you guys and only hooking a few humps, I was glad to get in there and be in the zone. Thanks for letting Dave and I weasel in next to y'all. As soon as you and the Macinator left, Dave punched another silver (mid teener) and I got two chromer hens for the barbie.

Went out Sunday in the sled and worked our tails off to get our fish, lots of fish in the system but the biters are few and far between.
