i finally took my trip that i won in the raffle last year. had a great trip on the hoh in a light [HA HA] rain. we caught three kings and one silver lost one and had several take downs and saw one bald eagle. if you have not floated thur the canyon on the lower hoh you are missing one of the pretties floats i have ever been on even in the rain. thanks again Bob for the great trip.

Wow. What a difference a day makes! I was out with Bob the day before.

We found a "few" fish in all that sun. wink

Here's a 34 pound buck that I punched on my card. Honestly, this photo doesn't do it justice, as it wasn't that "dark". I had the digital camera in the wrong mode. D'oh! frown This photo was heavily touched up just to get all the purple and glare out of it. At least the fish looks like crap.

Hey Bob, how did your photo turn out? Hopefully, better than this one.

Here's a nice upper 20's fish that was let go. We let go several fish in this class. Nice fish, but not nice enough.

Notice my nice black eye? This is what will happen to you if you do not listen to Bob and "wait...wait...wait" once your rod gets hit. After a good smacking by Bob, I got with it, and caught a few fish. wink Ok, not really. Actually, FishGal just slapped me around for kicks and giggles. eek

After punching a couple more fish, we tried hard all day to get at least one nice chrome coho for the BBQ. Never did hit a coho. But, at the "Last Chance Hole", AKA the take out, with a few feet left of the drift, this nice chrome 29 pound fish decided to chomp on the K-15 I named OBAP (One Bad Arse Plug).

Windy Bill and I had a great trip with Bob again. A true First Class adventure from start to end.

Thanks Bob and Corey! Maybe *next* year I'll get a fish on a Parker Hoochie Spinner. wink

And to think how mad I am at myself for cancelling my trip on the 20th. Atleast I had to cancel for things out of my control. Maybe next year?

Here's Larry smile

Wish I could have held off the front end of this monsoon for one more day for you ... but alas, all my efforts proved fruitless frown

Let's do a Nikon (I think that's what Parker has) vs. Sony Mavica picture test. Nearly the exact same pix from my camera:

We should make that the 16th and not the 15th next year Parker wink Email me if there's any problem with that.

GTaholic ... many dates are filling for next year (majority of fall guests grab a date for the following year when they leave), so you ought to make plans soon if you want some of the better times.

Gonna be a few days before we see any more of these up close frown

Record lows one year, record highs the next ... maybe next year we'll find that happy medium!

I have an older Canon PowerShot G1. It's a camera that sorta expects the user to not use the Auto mode and actually adjust things like flash level, ISO settings, etc. Unfortunately, I like to just use the auto feature. The payoff, sometimes, are crappy photos. IE, user error.

That's why I always tell everyone to check out www.dpreview.com All digital cameras are not the same.

Do your homework before buying any digital camera.
