Here's my project from last springs' work. I can set it up for rowing or motoring. Kind of nervous about taking it to a river as I have never floated rivers. Did take it out to the shipping lanes at CQ and that is deeper, huh?

I purchased the plans in 1979 and just got around to building it . Fernwood Boats out of Lynnwood, I don't know if they are around anymore. A couple of well known boat builders at
montana river boats built this boat 20 years ago . one sold it after the first trip the other after the first season. She is a bit wide in the ass end, heavier than modern models, and they say hard to handle. Sounds like my wife so what the H I built it anyway rigging mor for estuaries and lakes.

On a somewhat related note: Don't ever make this mistake. When you and your wife go to the mall and she stops to look at the window display at Victoria's Secret and you tell her: "Don't bother, you'd never fit in those, anyway." Even after nearly 29 years of wedded bliss, she still packs a good right cross!!!
