My bother just moved to coos-bay land has invited me down for my birthday to see the new house and even thu pat does not fish he wants to hire a giude in the area to take us out for some salmon. So my question to all of you is who do you recommend in that area? Bob do you got any guide freinds in the area that you think are anygood? This will be my brothers first salmon trip and even thu its my birthday I want him to have a good time so I can get him hooked on the sport.

I have fished with Chris Vertropolus in that area and he is as good as you are gonna get. He does know his stuff.

Sorry, but don't know his phone number but I would imagine that you could find it in information.

Nice gear, nice boat and nice guy.

Maybe Garabaldie area?

My uncle is a very successful guide out of Bandon. 20 miles south of Coos Bay.

There are still fish to be caught down here, in the Bay's as well as many late season fish in the Elk and Sixes rivers, which is a driftboat fishery, that will be sarting up after the first big rain!

If you are interested shoot me an email and I'll give you his contact info.
