Put in at Cady Park on the Snohomish at 11:30 am today(yes, I know it's high, but we got 3 on Sunday). Noticed right away that the river is down a foot or two but the color hasn't changed. Went upriver, casting to a few spots that "usually" hold fish, but nothing. Before you know it, I'm at Hwy 522 and Mother Nature does to me what a cow does to a flat rock. By the time I got back to Cady Park, I was soaked to the bone(yes, I had rain gear), the boat was full of water and the temperature had fallen 10 degrees. Saw no fish roll, no fish caught, but did see a guy in a drift boat behind Douglas Bar island with three rods out. I assumed that the other two guys were lying on the floorboards of the boat, no? confused

I'll be out on Friday, but probably on the Sky. This rain may hurt, the gauges on the rivers are already turning back up. eek

Snake: Jeesh, here I was feeling bad you didn't invite me. I fished the Sky today, afoot, around Wallace Flats. Saw a few chum roll and did a LDR on a real nice chrome silver. Wallace went from fair shape to puking mud in an hour. Rained like that cow you wer talking anout but I think it was one with two spigots. Heading to the Vedder this weekend.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Surecatch, sorry I didn't call you, I went at the last moment by myself in my little boat. As you saw, you didn't miss anything.

I think a trip to Vedder/Harrison is the right thing to do. I heard the Harrison was 7 feet higher than when we were there, maybe it's down a little now. Mr. Lamiglas is heading up there this weekend, too. I saw him at the Washington State Sportfishing Industry banquet last Sat.

Let's go chumming on the Sky next week!
