Hey Griz ... We make our spinners with a mix of Mor-Tac and Pen-Tac compnents, most powder coated.

Glad to see Pen-Tac back up and riunning, got our order ready for whenever they'll pick up the phone!

was in G.I. JOES today looking for simular components. looks like you have some wire, brass spinner, pink beads, over a green mini squid, or sardine streamer.

Many people prefer trebles for wild fish; theory is that the hooks do not penetrate as deep causing less harm then a single siwash would.

P.S. Those are very cool did you paint the bodies or order them that color?

I usually carry spinners with both trebles and single siwash in case I need to adjust, but in most cases I agree, the trebles hook up much better and dont seem to penetrate as deeply as a single siwash can.

Rarely do I get a gill bleeder with a treble.

The downside is that it does become a bit more troublesome to release fish if you are not keeping it, thats the reason I carry single siwash set ups, for those days when I am releasing most fish I catch, when it comes to keep one for the cooler, I usually put on a treble set up.

You can easily make these without trebbles. Just slide your hoochie over a barrel swivel. Attach your siwash on the barrel inside of the hoochie.

Yeah, MikeC, I be they would work for chums.

As I've learned, it's a lot easier to just bring the Box-O-Spinner-Parts and some pliars to the river. Make up your spinners in any color combinations, right on the river, as needed.
