Just for your information, in the local paper on Saturday November 7th. It stated that sportsman warehouse will be opening up in Silverdale next to costco ( the old Home Base) It will be sharing the store with levitz furnishing, it is scheduled to open in April of 2004. For those that live on the Pennisula it is good news Hopefully they will make Kitsap sports Lower their prices. I for one still won't shop at Kitsap sports.

I agree with the kitsap sports.I am all for supporting the local but the way i have been ttreated in the past uh uh.Not worth the mark up to me.

I just hope they cary ltlcleos for gods sake because this town has been unable to keep just me stocked for quite awhile.

Not completely related to the original post but, . . Aren't B.C. Steals the same as Little Cleos which are the same as Mor Tacs? I have about 200 B.C. Steels left. I might consider parting with a few. Let's see what migth be a good price. . . I'm thinking about $5.00 each, plus one zippermouth I didn't know about per dozen. Any takers?

I do not think that fishing is the primary money maker in there anymore.I stopped buy a couple of months ago and there was a new kid in there that was genuinely nice and did not look down his nose at you if you did not buy anything but the top of the line g-loomis.

Now here is where I am in total disbelief.I put one silver 2/3 in my basket and the estimated price was almost nine dollars?

Now I usully drop a hundred dollars a pop but that would not get me through a bad day fishin.hell it would not get me through a good day with a neighbor kid

I start paying these kind of prices to put something shiny on the end of my line and my motto: WORK IS FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT FISH would go out the door!

I did stop at the new ks and found it to be even farther from wanting any fishing buisness.Those that didn't know they moved into the old furniture store behind home depot.Huge place but no more maybe even less inventory,and not a soul around to ask a question to.

lt;CLEO, from what i can see in the catalog their selling packages of five , just the blades no hooks (etc) one package of 2/3oz. in silver would be $7.99 the price a little more than doubles if you want gold or gold/ silver- half n half. kinda misleading if a person don't see the per 5 in small print.

None of those paint ball guys at Kitsap Sports have a clue to whats going on in the fishing department. even though there together in the same area. One guy though a loomis was a compound bow. I had better luck with help from one of the girls at the checkstand. Hope Sportsmans warehouse gets here soon...

i agree about kitsap sports. had not been in for awhile and thought i would check the new place out, sos. i guess i will just keep shopping at swains on my way through port angeles,swains has everything, and cheaper i might add.

Don't forget about good ole Bay Street Outfitters down in Port Orchard my fellow Kitsap brethren.......Derek will put you on the fish!! We have got to support the local tackle shops, even if the price may seem cheaper outta that catalog (b-4 shipping!).

Sorry took so long to get back to ya Clams.....you know where Peninsula Feed is in downtown Port Orchard? They got all them cool John Deere tractors parked in front. Bay Street Outfitters is right across the alley from Pen Feed.
