There is some evidence that the magnetic field is weaking and may reverse within a few generations. I recently saw tis on Nova http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/magnetic/ It is believed that one of the reasons Mars is a dead as it is is because it lacks a magnetic field to protect it from Solar Radiation. _________________________ It's good to have friends It's better to have friends with boats *GutZ*
