Sky Guy

This was the picture that I was going to originally use! That was me in the bottom picture about 25 years ago. This thresher shark weighted over 550 pounds and was caught on rod and reel using 80 pound line. This was when I was commercially fishing for shark.

Thanks guys and gals, and to think I was going to change that pic soon!

Fishgal, thats a nice fish too, kinda gets heavy taking the picture doesn't it?

I really like Fishnphycians avatar too.

Now...how about the best Name, lots of cool ones out there too.

Okay Mike ... we like lings too!

Actually it's one of Corey's faves to catch (and eat!)!

But we lke the saltwater variety ... perhaps I should have put this one up for Corey with lings in mind smile

Found an old pic of the son and I (He's 26 now). He is holding the small blackmouth that the Ling had grabbed on to and wouldn't let go of.....I netted them both and he spit out the salmon. Sorry for the poor quality of photo. At one time you could see the teeth marks on the salmon.

Same son a few years later. beer
