Can someone help clarify the regs on this river after Dec. 1. My interpretation is that pretty much anything goes, i.e. bait, trebles, etc. What about a limit? The description wasn't very clear. Thanks

Without meaning any disrespect, you're better off learning to read the regs or calling the WDFW to get clarification. Trying to explain to the young gentleman with the badge that the guys on the internet said it was OK to do whatever is not likely to get you much slack.
With that caution, my understanding is, without going and reading the regs, is that it's open to traditional steelhead tactics as of the 1st. Fishing has been slow so far. Some fish were being taken at Tokul, but the only one I saw was a summer fish, and there don't seem to be any winter fish in the hatchery raceway, at least that I could see. May be a week or two, yet.

Beancounter, Bait away! Dec. 1st the bait restriction comes off. Too bad all the hatchery fish stack up at the big eddy and cable hole. Expect company! Oh crap! now I've gone and revealed the secret spot and will bring 100 more guys and gals out there. Me and my big mouth!

Bigfish, I heard it was a zoo up at the eddy. Do you visit there much? A friend of mine lives there this time of year and goes by the name of Stretch. Have you ever met up with him? He's as wides as he is tall and very loud. Sorry about the crowds. I fished Sunday and hooked 4 and never seen another person. Can't say where I was, I don't want the company.

Beancounter, Sounds like you're fishing for info? There are sooo many places to fish where you don't have to put up with the shoulder to shoulder b.s. Think about this, smaller water and a little hiking.

Beancounter, I tried a PM, but it wouldn't let me. I see we live in the same area. Give me a call and maybe we can hook up and go rip some lips. Just remember, I'm really protective of my favorite haunts. 425-576-8789 Craig
