Every year the flight club I belong to, www.befa.org , has an anual crab feed/member meeting. The club is shopping for a place to buy the crab at a reasonable price. If anyone has any suggestions/connections, it would be greatly appreciated.

what kind of Crab? Red,Brown,Blue, kings or Snow(Opilio) .........

Call the Tulalip Tribe...Fred Meyer had crab at $ 2.50 per lb recently

We are looking for dungeness, also the crab fee/member meeting isnt until Feb 28. I dont know if that will make a difference with availability and price.

Yeah, like G'Pa said call the Tribes...... Not sure if you could choke it down knowing what they are doing out there in the sound, but I am sure they would be happy to sell you a few hundred punds.......

There is a guy on Whidbey selling them along the hiway, just about every weekend.

I think it's $7 / crab. South end of the island, S. of Freeland, and then there is another guy in Freeland selling them across from Payless grocery.

I have a buddy you should talk to. He has a fish market but will do special orders on quantity at good prices.

i dont understand why some people here want to support the tribes by buying crabs/fish from them and cuttin our own throats

I'm with BB75 on this one! Doesn't make any sense at all even if it is way cheaper. Defeats all our efforts at righting these offenses!
