Was unfortunate enough to come across a nasty wreck in between the two Port Townsend exits. At the crest of that hill it was snowing pretty hard with about an inch accumulation on the road......

If you are going either direction....BE CAREFUL and drive safely!

I'm guessing but I'd say about 4 - 4:15...we looked to be about the tenth or twelfth car past...

I spent 6 years driving big trucks coast-coast...and can tell you that this time of year is the worst for drivers not paying attention to the road, or drinking and driving.

Hopes and prayers that all travel safely this weekend...remember the fish will still be there even if it takes an extra 10 min.

Many wrecks tonight. Be careful.

Saw on the news and read in the morning paper that a 37-year-old mother and and two children (11 and an infant) were killed in the accident. She apparently lost control in the snow, crossed the center line and was hit. The driver of the other car was airlifted to Harborview in serious condition while a passenger was taken to a local hospital.
