Fished the sky today, ended up with a dark silver and a BIG native summer run, approximately 15lbs and that's being modest. Both were released of course. Finally broke in the custom Jack in the box antenna ball float that i had made. Got both on a pink jig under what i like to call Jack float. Overall kinda slow, but felt good gettin the biggest steely of my life. I'll be back out this weekend, with another report.

i was a bit higher today Reiter lol. it was dead saw 1 fish on hatchery side landed and bout 4 or 5 on hwy side. need some water to push some more up. tried to fish lower holes today and they were worse than reiter has been. so i kept on goin til hit the ponds and it was a waste of time. FISHON

Got a late start this morning due to the ice on the roads. Fun pulling a boat on a skating rink. Launched at sultan and fished both up and down river, not much to show but a nice rainbow to send back. The weather and company was very nice. Maybe just the Christmas left overs, but everyone on the river was pleasant today. Hope to see more of it and also more fish.
