I took board member steelhead_dreaming out today to see if we could wrestle up any winter run at blue creek yet and kevin got a summer run 2 mins into fishing right in front of boat ramp then he got a winter run fish later in the day we went 2 for 3 and the one lost was a big king. We seen 6 other winters and 3 other summers caught all day by the 30 or so boats at blue creek today.

The mysterious youth is Mike Z. You've seen his face in one of the guide service ad's in STS: The photo above was taken in the early 1980's. The Cowlitz winter run was in it's hay day with 12,000 (reportedly) caught annually, vs the paultry number today.

I wondered if that pic would pull you out of the woodwork.

That truck was awesome BTW. I finally broke the front axle and toasted the transfer case being a teenager. Hated to see it go.
