I only made one movie, but will put up the small and larger version.

The small version is still a bandwidth sucking 36MB! Don't even try to download it via a modem.

Here it is. Enjoy!
Snoopy Rod Classic Movie - Small

Here's the larger version. All 80 MB's!

Snoopy Rod Classic Movie - LARGE

For those who participated in this event and would like a copy of this movie burned on to a CD, please email me privately. Send me your name and snail mail address and I will send you a CD.

Bob & Corey - your CD will go out in the mail tomorrow! wink

Mmmmmm.

Crap.

Oh well, enjoy any ways.

Summer Run:

"So, Can anyone enter SRC tournament?"

I had asked about that earlier, in the other thread. I can certainly understand how Bob, Parker and others that participate feel. This is a bunch of guys that seem to be buds going way back, so they have this tournament each year...pretty much a closed deal, and I can respect that.

It is tough to read about it, wanting to participate in such an event.

I *think* I've got a solution...kinda along the same track, but with not as grand a fishy...

The Skagit Chum Classic..:-)

Snoopy style rods bagging bulldog Chum. Have to work out the rest of the details for it, but yeah, I'm serious. This might be a super fun day. Oh yeah...DB's only..no motors allowed. laugh

Sowhattayathink?

Parker...gonna check out the movie. Most of your stuff is pretty good, so this should be up to your "high" standards.

Faster connection at home---I just downloaded the 80MB version. Awesome job at the Parker Production Company. The Star Wars intro was classic. I would have gone with a Pulp Fiction theme myself, but WTF. beer

Parker:

Great flick! I downloaded the 30 meg. version..even with DSL the 80 meg would be a stretch...unless it contains tater gun shots.. rolleyes

Thanks for not leaving the best parts of those fish on my doorstep...but thanks for thinking about me.... beer

I tend to return such pleasant favors...and this years Chum (the ones playing dead on Skagit beachs) are especially fragrant... laugh

Too fun you guys! (and FishGal)

Parker, you da man.

I gotta bunch of footage on miniDV that is awaiting some digital editing. Looks like I need some help from OpherBone Productions.

I've been seeing this commercial for a DVD recorder. Anyone familiar with this device? What will it accept as a source? Is it only DVD to DVD or can you record miniDV to DVD?

Yippee ... I got it via 28.8!!!

Enjoyed that masterpiece with my morning java.

A new career for Parker?

An in-depth look at the dark side of steelheading and the powerfuly moving unedited raw footage of the anglers themselves. It's Mall Rats meets Clerks meets Fishing the West ... it's: Steelhead Junkies! Or maybe: 'Headin' Girls if we can a couple of college girls to flash the camera once in a while moose moose sleep

Great job Parker! I'm left with a couple of thoughts:

1. I gotta get me a job working for the State so that I have the time and cool toys to work with. Just jealous Parker!

2. I always thought you needed a long rod to fish a float. Must not be so.

Looks like fun was had by all.

Not only do I work for the state, but part of my job is to be "fluent" in computing/networking/digital technology. We have digital still and video cameras here at work. People *DO* ask me about movie and photo editing.

I just use my digital film for "testing purposes only". laugh

Fortunately, I'm suppose to be "fluent" on this whole internet thing, so I only look at, and respond to this board for "testing purposes only". laugh

That *WAS* a long rod. laugh The SpiderMan rod was a 2-piece, 3-eyelet rod! Most people in the SRC biatched and complained that it was an illegal rod. Probably will be so next year. But, this years regulations stated the rod only had to have a cartoon character on it.

The only real things you need to do when float fishing are to:

a) Cast
b) Set the hook when the float goes under, or starts scooting across the water! eek

laugh

Looks like fun was had by all. [/QB][/QUOTE]
