Sure would have been nice to see the Hawks to have pulled it off for the win!

Yeah so close, it sucks. They actually did quite well for being in the game most of it. It's always....wait til next year.

A lot better than I expected them to do, especially since they where at Lambo Field in the Post Season.

A good, albeit disappointing ending. Hawks had two touchdowns that they just didn't convert. One thing about watching them Hawks....always have a reason to drink!!

The Hawk's need some new wide recievers. 8 dropped passes is unacceptable for a playoff team. 3 of which were touchdown passes. It should never have even gone to OT.

Hawks played a good game today so did the packers,Hasselbeck kinda got his comeupance after his comments during the coin toss.Next year- Hawks only beat 1 team with a winning record(barely,at home). Schedule won't be as soft in 04, 8 and 8, 9 and 6 maybe,no playoffs

I think the comment was "we want to score" or "we're" going to score". I was working so could only listen to the game on the radio. The Seahawks put up a good fight but you can't make those mistakes in the playoffs, not when the other team doesn't make the same mistakes. I spent my youth watching the Pack go through the kind of seasons the Seahawks have had. So forgive my childhood loyalty. Go Pack! ( a native Cheesehead )

Jacob F, If you had watched the Seahawks play all year you would know that they have one of the best receiving corps in the NFL.
Whoever said the Seahawks will be 8-8 or 9-6 is being foolish. It is imposible for them to finish at 9-6 and they have improved every year regardless of their record. With an emerging offense and a talented and young defense the possibilities are endless. Sounds like the same predictions that had the Hawks getting blown out in Green Bay.

Tornado, I watched them all year and it wasn't just today that they dropped passes, during the pre-game show they said the Hawks led the league in dropped passes. I hope they keep Holmgren and let him tweak the defense (both D-line and secondary need help) if they can figure out how to stop the run and dump Springs I think things could be pretty exciting around here next season. Interception or not, Hasselbeck is "The Man"! I think he's got a great future ahead of him. Go Patriot's

Alexander may not be a top tier back, but he is excellent at catching swing passes out of the backfield and bursting for 15 yards on a screen.
He finished the year with over 1,400 yards to finish eighth in the NFL. With that said if Morris continues to develop he could be the Priest Holmes/Ahman Green type running back that Seattle needs. But, if Alexander continues to develop his strait ahead running ability he could be everything they need. He is excellent at finding the endzone. But, I tend to favor Morris.
I still think that Seattle's wide receivers are excellent and some of the best in the league. Those dropped passes will dissapear next year. I think the anouncers focus on it a little bit too much.
If Norman Hand can stay healthy and Moore continues to improve this defense could be one the best in the NFL. Moore was an excellent pick, 6th round draft choice who is just a rookie out of Tennessee. The secondary is looking really good with the exception of Springs, who will be gone next year. Look for another strong draft from Holmgren. Holmgren is excellent at pulling talent from the draft and free agency without blowing the budget.
Hawks will be an NFC favorite next year without a doubt.

it was a good season and it looks like are starting to overcome this playing away jinx. next year shouild be pretty good I say

I did watch most games and I would disagree about having a good recieving corp. Even prior to the game yesterday, Terry Bradshaw was giving the knod to the Hawks and Jimmy Rogers said the Packers would win due to the Hawk's poor recieving all year. Sure enough, 8 dropped passes, 3 of which were touchdown passes bit the hawks in the ass.

stlhdfshn,
That's because you epitomize a Seattle fan. It's amazing how many fans emerge for other teams when they are doing well. I couldn't believe the closet Cowboy's and Packers fan's when they were at the top of their game.
JacobF,
I only saw 3 important passes dropped, you must be including the one that was two feet behind Koren Robinson, ya that was catchable. One receiver over eleven hundred yards and another right around nine hundred yards, sorry you were right I was wrong.
