I was asleep for 2 hours by then.

i watched that last night. i was suprised how many big busts he made and close calls on his life. i've never heard of snagging sturgon before. good show, you guys should check it out if they rerun it.

I watched it too, but I missed the part on poaching salmon.

I really liked the end of the story about the frog poacher ending up floating in the bay. WOW that was not worth 198 little frogs!

that would be something, reeling in a fish cop when you thought you had a big king on in the dark.. probbly would make my heart stop for a few minutes too..

I looked it up and it's on again at midnight tonight. I don't know if it's the same episode though.

Snagging sturgeons was such a fake.
We fisherman know how difficult it is to land a snagged salmon or a legally hooked sturgeon.
How the heck are you suppose to land a 6 footer snagged on the dorsal fin?
And they used bait 2 feet above the trebble hook.
Why would you want to use this setup?
Why not just use a single hook with bait; would it not be easier to land them this way?

I watched it and I liked it alot!

swimming down a river at night to catch those guys was good. especially that he planed it that way, to grab the guys lure and fake him out, then to come out of the water in the pitch black to give them tickets take there rods and swim back down river....excelent. i am also suprized how many of us were awake at 1 am.

What was the name of the show?

The show is called Wildlife Wars. My wife and I watched it from 6-8pm past night. It is a pretty cool show.
