No, both fish I got today were hatchery fish. In fact, all the fish I saw today were hatchery. No natives yet.

lol. I'm actually going to have to write an addendum to my article in the January Reel News where I recommend the West Coast floats. The wind was blowing hard today and that Thill float was not affected by the wind at all. The West Coast float was skiing all over the place last time I fished in wind. I guess it's the way the top tapers to the cone shape or something but I was able to get much more natural floats than with a West Coast float.

Nice fish JacobF! I like ur style too, float and jig all the way! I was working on my first of the 04' yesterday on the Sol Duc and lost one at Lyendecker's about 10:30 am and didn't touch another fish the rest of the day and wound up gettin out fish by grandpa 1 to zip! I'll never live it down now! Chris
