I know a number of us have changed over to the Pfleuger Trion since it came out, and at $100 it is a great reel at a great price.

Found a guy on eBay selling a couple, new in the box, at $75.00 ea. on the Buy It Now. If they were Left handed models I wouldn't be posting this, but instead would be PayPal'ing the guy $150.00!

Check out:

I've never seen them under $99.00...and the seller has 100% positive feedback..a good deal is in the making for someone quick on the button. (and no, I am not the seller nor do I know them..just wanted to pass along a good deal.)

MIKE The picture looks like a left handed reel to me.

The reel is upside down, or did you mean only a left handed person would use a reel like that. \:\)

Hmmm..

I have always consider a reel with the handle on the right side being a right handed reel. Is this inaccurate?

In any event, the handles are on the right side of these...I cast and hold my rod with my right hand and don't like swapping it to the left hand to reel....guess I musta missed out on the coordination gene..:-)

Here is the pic from the auction...now y'all tell me, is this a RIGHT HAND or a LEFT HAND reel?

Compare it to the one in my avitar image...with the handle on the left side of the reel.

I think this stinkin bronchitis must have got to my brain...can't process data...

Look for the thumb bar, Mike -- it's on the top of the reel in the photo, making this a right-hand crank.

Keith:

Thanks for letting me know I haven't lost all my marbels yet...

In any event I just thought it was a good price and wanted to pass it along if anyone was in the market for a Trion.

I guess I looked at it upside down. It is a right hand reel.

This seller just put up another 4 Pflueger Trion low profile reels for bid on ebay, with an even better BUY-IT-NOW price of $65 per reel.

Whoopsss...make that 3 reels remaining for bid. I just bought one of them. \:D

Cheapskate...saw them yesterday and PM'd the seller to ask if he had any LH reels he could list.

Told him he would have 2 sold immed. if he had them...sadly the seller hasn't replied yet..and likely won't as I asked the same question of him last time.

Carp.
