Fishing was slow for bm on Saturday. Weather was great! First trip in new(used) boat, starter was bad, no blower, no bilge pump, jeez. Pulled over by two very attractive Fish and Game officers, highlight of the day! LOL. Got two fish, neither big enough to keep. Marked some bait near Briscoe Point(thanks Downriggin). Got one by the Little Fishtrap area, 50 ft down on a green and white salmon fly, the other off Devils head on the same fly using a green glo Hotspot about 70 ft. Interesting first trip. Look forward to an uneventful trip on Sunday, though.

Too bad about the fishing but if one of those fish and game officers is the one I think she is (blonde) she used to be a cheerleader for the seattle seahawks. For real.

Signs of life! The lil' guys generally show up first. I'll think I am gunna give it a go on Wednesday or Friday. Springers can wait another week... gotta save some gas money!

I get "pulled over" all the time by those two gals. Man... wish I was single!

I'll head out tommorrow from Zittels Marina.. Going to hit springers wednesday at Cathlamet.. Hey Downriggin, if you see me out there...I'll be in a 19ft Dtryker with a green top. What's your boat look like so I know who to spy on in the future? I suppose the obvious answer is that it's the one catching fish... \:D

Those two wardens are the best catch in the south sound. Weren't very friendly to me though.

Those two ought to think about doing more enforcement on the rivers..etc.. I think they'd find more serious violations. I'm not sure if they are being remembered more for obvious reasons or if that's where they primarily do their enforcement work...
