1)Green river, and not the 1 in King county.
2a)Cowlitz
2b)Kalama
3)Sky

Don't get to fish these anymore but when I did, they were my favorites.

I'd never fish the Lewis. Man, that river sucks in the summer!

Not to mention the top ten "Illustrious Lurker" favorites:

1. Zipper Brook
2. No Name Creek
3. Lost River
4. Shadow Canyon
5. Clandestine Canal (of course that's only if Blue Cr. is considered separate from the Cowlitz ;\) )
6. Hidden Branch
7. Revenuer's Respite
8. Fallacious Fork
9. Withered Arm
10. Deceptive Passage

;\) I was followin' ya, Parker.

Speaking of zippers, do most feel the same fear about naming summer locales as they do winter haunts? I'm thinking that most people at too busy doing other things in the summer to crowd a river for summer runs?

What's been your experience?

I'm not concerned about giving up my summer spots, haven't been able to fish them since 89 (sucks having to spend all summer in Ak ;\) )
besides, other then the Green, none that I mentioned are zippers and the places I fished the Green are behind locked gates now so it doesn't much matter.

Harley, I will never say a peep about my summer spots - it's too easy to get crowded out already. Sorry, kris. Nothing personal.

Cowlitz is the killer... Get there and get your rock!! Might want to pitch a tent too, or a teepee for that matter... The Columbia is another killer.

Last but not least I'd fish Abernathy Creek, Germany Creek and the Washougal... They are all zippers...
