Dan, I will be praying for Drew eveyday now until the surgery. When the surgery is over I know I will be saying a prayer of thanksgiving for Drew's successful operation. May God give you and Drew his peace and strength through this difficult time. Mike

Dan, I wish you all the luck in the world and will say a prayer for your son.
I have 3 kids and 1 due any day and can't imagine what it would be like to go through something like that with my kids.
You're in good hands at Childrens Hospital.

I doubt you remember me, but we met at a flotila a few years back.
I've always thought you add to this board.
Sounds like lots of fishermen are praying for Drew and family. Add me to that list.

Strange how you can be facing the most devastating problems of your life but being out on the river will give you peace of mind and allow you to forget everything.
I'm new here and your post hit so close to home that I had to join and reply. This looks like an excellent forum and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
People don't understand how I can fish all day and not be upset if I get skunked (something I'm used to), if I let myself get mad over fishing though, it defeats my purpose of being out there in the first place.
