Took the boat out for a little spin to Kingston today. What a beautiful day. I saw only a few boats fishing. There were tons of birds out too. We stopped to bathe in the sun and my daughter thought she could see the bottom. We were out quite a way from shore. There were thousands of little tiny fish swimming a few feet down. Must have been baby herring I guess. Docked at Kingston and the kids got some ice cream while we stayed in the park. Great day to be on the water.

Sounds like a fun way to spend the day

Cool to hear of all the little fish ... it's fun to watch the schools of them. We were swimming in masses of them on vacation and it's incredible how they move in sync!

Reminds me of the Blue Planet Seas Of Life series and the gauntlet the schools of baitfish go through from predators. I'm sure most have seen it but if you haven't watch the dvd's. Incredible filming.
