Just bought a mid-80's cabin cruiser this weekend and am looking for someone to upgrade/redo the upholstery (curtains and cushions). Any recommendations on shops between Seattle and Everett?

And, the boat came on a '95 galv EZ Loader trailer that was never used and I need to get it checked out and adjusted. So, also looking for recommendations on trailer work, preferably in the Edmonds to Everett area.

Thanks

Seadeep, don't know what to tell you about curtains but you may want to look into replacing the seats rather then re-upholstering, I have talked to alot of people (where I work) who thought they would re-upholster until they found out what it cost. You can replace a back to back seat for $100 a jump seat for $70 or a pedestal type seat for $130, customers have told me numerous times they were quoted anywhere from $500 to $1000 for re-uphostery work.
Just something to think about if you haven't already.

As for trailer work, Glenns welding in Lynnwood does good work, might want to give them a call. (425)743-2226 or http://www.gweld.com

Thanks for the replies thus far.

Just delivered the boat to Powerboats Plus in Mukilteo for a tune and several minor things. They're going to work over the trailer for me, so that's taken care of.

The upholstery isn't for fixed seating, but rather for the curtains and cushions in the salon. Had a guy today suggest I find a seamstress instead of a boat place, but don't know any of those either. The cushions are all the foam pieces that make up the dinette, inside helm, and cuddy padding. They just need recovered with new material I think.
