It seems to happen every year accross the web on the fishing boards & I seem to always post the same post,...every year.

"There's a thin red line between genius and insanity. Not only have most off you crossed it many times,...you've completely erased it!!" Jimmy Buffett

C'mon already Guys!! Fishin's supposed to be fun not a political he said she said bash fest. Were all entitiled to our own opinions; But lets not forget why we fish!!

Time to take a time out, Mix a Creole Cocktail (recipe below) crank up some Jimmy Buffett and take a trip to Margaritaville,...you know "It's in the tropics somewhere between the Port of Indecision and Southwest of Disorder."

CREOLE COCKTAIL
"After one sip, you'll repeat the words you say a thousand times a day"

- 1/2 Jigger Extra Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 Jigger Sweet Vermouth
- 2 Dashes Benedictine
- 2 Dashes Bitters
- Lemon Peel, Garnish

Fill Shaker with ice, add ingrediants. Stir and Strain into glass :p :p

Maybe the Hokey-Pokey is what its really all about!!! \:D \:D

Ok, now I want a Buffet Marg.

Mmmmmmm.

_The Road to the Perfect Margarita_
Our journey starts...

1. Fill shaker with broken cubed ice.
2. Squeeze TWO fresh lime wedges into shaker.
3. Savor the fresh lime aroma (AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!)
4. Add 2 oz. Cuervo 1800.
5. Sniff the cork.
6. Add 1/2 oz. of Jose Cuervo White if ya wish (white for bite!).
7. Add 1-1/4 oz. of Roses Lime Juice (accept no substitutes!).
8. Add 1/2 oz. of Bols Triple Sec (nothing but the best!).
9. Add "a splash" of Bols Orange Curaco (shh... secret ingredient).
10. Cover shaker tightly!
11. Shake vigorously.
12. Flip shaker in midair twice (three times if you're a pro).
13. Uncover shaker and savor the flavor!
14. Rim glass with Lime peel (outside only!).
15. Salt the outside only.
16. Add fresh ice.
17. Strain mixture over ice.
18. Squeeze in 1 lime wedge and toss rind over left shoulder.
19. Now kick back, turn up the tunes and enjoy!

Johnny and Parker,

That's all well and good, but mine's a little simpler...

Reach in cooler, pull out beer, twist off top with teeth, spit out top, drink beer.

Repeat as necessary.

\:D \:D

Fish on...

Todd

Ah, it's getting to be that time of year. Cool it on the Porter and bust out the Corona. Life on Whidbey is good. If you havn't been here in a while, it's all white sand and palm trees now!
Officially Margaritaville

We got Blues Great, Corey Harris Saturday night at the bar in Langley. See you at the Dog House @ 9 for some low down solo blues.

Corey Harris = next Taj Mahal - He's that good!
