From the springers I have been seeing this year compared to the ones I caught lost year they seem really small. (7-12 pounds this year compared to 10-22 pounds last year) Has anyone else noticed this.

Yes, these are not the five year fish we had last year. The biggest I got this year so far is 18#'s

I had to agree 'til today...my biggest fish so far this year is 14lbs 11 oz, and all the fish have been in the 14lb range, but...... one of my Longview fishing buddies boated a 32 lb hatchery fish yesterday! Hope that is a sign that some bigger fish are on the way

The smallest one we caught today was about 12. Biggest around 25. I guess I'm having a different experience. But then perhaps such is the nature of my zipperlip li'l stream.
