I have a 10ft columbia f/g boat and oars that I no longer need it leaks a little but is usable the way it is. Here's the dilemma part, I know that I could sell it and could always use the extra money but I thought it would be nice to find some young kid who would get some use out of it to give it to that otherwise wouldn't have chance of having a boat parent or parents down on their luck (etc) any ideas how I can do this ? \:D thanks

That's a cool thing you're doing. Somebody on here might know someone who needs it.

There was a kid on ifish that was looking for a boat. Here is his post: http://www.ifish.net/forum/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=513527&page=9&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

Excellent idea! I would suggest trying your local Boys and Girls club. If they have no one, I am sure they can refer you to other gourps.

Check with the Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club. The President, Jim Brauch, does a lot with kids fishing. The address is: P.O. Box 1646, Everett WA. 98206. Sorry, I don't have an email address for Jim.
