I'm thinking about making my first visit to La Push in July. Any suggestions/recomendations for charters and accomodations. My wife will be coming along, so there is a need for a notch or two above the typical fishing shack. Any feedback is appreciated.

I believe the only game in town is LaPush Ocean Park Resort. They have everything from motel rooms to shacks to fairly nice housing for accomodations. It's located on the prettiest beach you could ask for. No bargains, however.

Otherwise, you can stay in Forks.

We stayed at the Olympic Suites Motel in Forks (15 miles away). The Forks web-site has all kinds of information on guides and lodging.

We have fished with Randy Lato of AllWays Fishing several times. He is a great guy and knows that area like the back of his hand. He will treat you well and work very hard to make sure you catch your fish and have a great day on the water. His number is (360)374-2052. I don't know anything about the other guides out there but I am pretty sure there are only 4 or 5 that go out of La Push.

I have been fishing 3 times with Larry Williamson of Admiralty Charters. I can't say enough about this guy. I highly recommend booking a trip with him.

Larry is no longer fishing. He sold his boat and operation. Randy Lato and Jim Richeson are the only game in LaPush now.
